(California) - Chris, 31, met Norma, 89, when he moved into his apartment complex 4 years ago and she waved to him everyday. One day Chris asked to come visit and they've been best friends since then. Norma has leukemia and recently spent two months in the hospital battling pneumonia and breathing problems. After that she became gravely ill and doctors told her she only has months to live.
Doctors told her she'd would need 24/7 home care and Chris immediately offered to have Norma move in with him. Chris says, "I believe that human kindness is a magical thing and can heal what doctors can't."
