#GoodNews: ToysForTots Is Helping NOW

Toys for Tots is known for giving toys to families in need at Christmas, but the nonprofit isn’t waiting until the holidays to spread some cheer. The program, run by the U.S. Marine Corp Reserve, is partnering with the charity

Good360

to distribute 2 million toys, books, and games to kids across the country now.

“We don’t want to wait until next holiday season to lessen the fear and anxiety of our children,” explains Lieutenant General Jim Laster, president and CEO of Toys for Tots.

They normally have toy drives in the fall to collect donations, but they’re able to start giving now thanks to donations from Hasbro, Lego Disney, Funko, Five Below, Build-A-Bear, as well as Good360’s network of nonprofit partners.
