Dr. Arvietta Edge is a pediatrician in Oklahoma. She first met 10-year old D.J. and his 7-year old sister Brianna when their foster parents brought D.J. in for a checkup. She says they had an instant bond and she told the foster parents that she had always wanted to foster and adopt a child.
Well, they were an older couple, and couldn’t care for the kids any longer. They later reached out to Dr. Edge and wanted to know if she could take them. She did! She fostered D.J. and Brianna for a while and then adopted them in May. Now she hopes to adopt again and add more siblings for her kids.
